Register your family
for one of our Bible clubs at the table in the back! We will have Bible lessons, songs, crafts, games and snacks, just like vacation Bible school! Sign up to serve at one of our Bible clubs! Descriptions for all leadership positions are on the sign-up sheet on the window. Children’s Bible Clubs is a “vacation Bible school-style” out-reach ministry. We will need people to hand-deliver invita-tions in neighborhoods near the parks. If you would like to help, sign up to be part of the publicity team.

FIRST BAPTIST MISSION JUNE MISSION FOCUS 2018 "ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING"

The American Baptist churches USA are major partici-pants in the mission of One Great Hour of Sharing. “The bulk of the offering goes to support water, hunger, disaster relief and empowerment programs. Focusing on these four areas allows us to address some of the root causes of suffering in our world.”
Since a committee development in 1949 by several denominational church leaders, this Mission has been part of a “…nationwide united effort by “America’s Christians….to prove to the world how great is the power generated when Christians unite in a common cause.” This month, WE have the opportunity to make a difference by participating . According to the website, there are currently water projects in more than 20 countries. This includes the United States and Canada. It includes shelter, aid and basic needs.
If you are able to support financially, please make your checks payable to the church and mark One Great Hour of Sharing on the memo line. Your prayers will also be heard as you remember Our Partners in Chile and the many projects around the world. “Your gifts make hope possible.” (www.onegreathourofsharing.org).
