Indian Creek Baptist Camp-Registration Is Now Open
Check out Indian Creek Baptist Camp, an ABC-IN/KY camp in Bedford, Ind. Our church pays half of the camp session fee for your camper. More information will be announced soon!
Fellowship Guild
The Fellowship Guild will meet on April 9 at 1 pm in the Chapel.
Palm Sunday
Hosanna! Palm Sunday is on April 13th this year. Join us!
Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday Service will be on April 17th at 7 pm. Join us in remembrance of the Last Supper.
Easter Services
There will be a Sunrise Service on Easter at 7:44 am at the church. There will also be the regular 9:30 am Service. Join us on April 20th to celebrate our Lord’s resurrection!
Prayer Meeting
Prayer meetings are on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm. Bring any prayer concerns you may have or just come to pray for others.
Community Free Meal
First Baptist will be hosting the Free Meal at Grace Church on Wednesday, April 16. Thanks to everyone that provided groceries and came to help in January. This is an outreach mission that continues to grow. We always need additional volunteers to support this important ministry. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s help and financial support. If you would like to make a monetary donation, checks can be written to First Baptist Church with Free Meal written on the memo line.
Pedal Boat Needed!
The Diaconate is reaching out to see if anyone in the congregation either has a pedal boat with lake access or knows someone with a pedal boat that the church can utilize for boat church this year. If anyone is interested please contact Troy Pryor at 765-513-6837.
Wednesday Bible Studies
The Men’s Bible Study will meet on Wednesdays at 10 am. In the Pastor’s office. The Women’s` Bible Study will meet on Wednesdays at 10 am in the Adult Class classroom.
April Mission-Scholarships
The Mission of the Month for April is the First Baptist Church’s Scholarship Fund. Our church gives out scholarships to all applicants that are active in youth group and/ or church activities. Applicants may receive a scholarship for 4 years if enrolled and in good standing as an undergraduate at a college or vocational school. Under certain conditions, an applicant may also receive a scholarship for post graduate schooling. The amount of the scholarship is awarded equally based on available funds. Recently, this amount has been $1000: $500 in the fall and another $500 after the first of the year for the spring semester. Applications are due by June 15th of each year and the guidelines are at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
