Twists and Turns Vacation Bible School

Thank you to all who prayed for and served our Twists & Turns VBS, June 12-16.

We learned:

•  Jesus is holy and that changes everything.
•  Jesus is trustworthy even when I doubt.
•  Jesus is forgiving even when I sin.
• Jesus is worth following even when it gets tough.
• Jesus is for everyone including me.We had 73 children registered and attendance ranged from 57 to 71. More than 40 adults and teens were involved in this at-home mission to share the gospel with our community. At least 32 volunteers staffed our VBS daily.Families gave $274.35 for the St. John Lutheran Church “clothes closet.” Also, they provided dried beans and canned tomatoes for the missions station and, on Thursday, children assembled 20 Friendship Soup kits to be distributed the following week at the free meal at Grace church.Fourteen children chose to hear a special gospel/ salvation presentation on Friday by Pastor Chuck including a sinner’s prayer
